I have submitted an expression of interest, what now?
If you have submitted an expression of interest for a position with The Pancake Parlour, you will receive an automated email within 24 hours of your registration being completed. If a suitable position is open in your selected restaurant, and your expression of interest is shortlisted, you will be contacted by one of our Restaurant Managers for a brief phone interview. If the phone interview goes well, you will be invited to the restaurant for an interview.
If I am asked to come for an interview, what should I bring?
If you are successful during the interview, you will be hired on the spot.
You will need to provide our payroll department with a tax file number, your bank account details and a superannuation membership number and fund ABN (if you have a pre-existing superannuation fund)
Australian and New Zealand residents will also need to provide one of the following forms of photo identification:
- Medicare Card or birth certificate
- Drivers’ licence
Visa holders will need to bring their passport including a copy of the photo page.
What happens if I am unsuccessful?
If you are unsuccessful, you will be informed by the Restaurant Manager interviewing you, who will provide you with feedback. You are welcome to submit a new expression of interest if you would like to.
